Family Visit in San Francisco

This past weekend I convinced my parents and Justin to come visit me out here in San Francisco! Justin and I picked up my parents from the airport on Saturday and brought them straight downtown. We started our day out on Pier 39 to see the seals who were enjoying the sun that we hadn't seen out here in 1.5 weeks. We then proceeded to Fisherman's Wharf where we ended some fish and chips on the walk (not me of course).

Right after Fisherman's Wharf we were walking along the sidewalk and we see this crowd on the sidewalk, looking at us, and another person was videotaping the walk. Right as we were all wondering this guy pretending to be a BUSH jumped out at us! It was soo hilarious...we were laughing for the next 30 minutes. We also got the chance to take a trolley car ride and walk around Union Square, drive down Lombard street and shop for Ghiradelli chocolate.

The next day we had to visit wine country. We drove in through the fog but luckily it cleared up and we saw some beautiful scenary. During the day we visited 3 wineries, an Irish Pub, and a Microbrewery...a little bit of something for everyone. The Irish pub - Murphys - had delicious food and a slogan, "Welcome to wine country, Have a Guinness!" :) In addition to delicious wine we also bought some delicious olive oil after doing some fun olive oil tasting.

The next few days we did some more sight seeing including Muir Woods (which everyone has to see!), Golden Gate Bridge, Sausilito, and we of course had to find the local casino, Cache Creek - near Sacramento, to gamble. Hope you enjoy the pictures! We had a fabulous time :)
